What is a House Concert?
It's simply a concert at someone's house, with the emphasis on "concert". (Not to be confused with a "house party".) At its best, a house concert provides music lovers an intimate concert experience, and gives performers an attentive and appreciative audience.

How do I make a reservation?
We accept donations (for the artists) to make reservations. To donate and reserve seats:
No tickets will be printed or sent to you. When we receive notice of the PayPal payment, or when the check is received and cleared, we will send you a confirmation email and add you to the guest list for the evening.
Requests for reservations without payment will be honored on a best-effort basis. Please make these requests by email, either through your email program or our contact form.
Are reservations necessary?
Reservations aren't strictly necessary, but they help us to ensure that we can fill the house for the performers. We do ask that everyone contact us ahead of time to let us know they are coming. Guests who arrive at the show unannounced risk not getting a seat, but hopefully there will be plenty of room.
What if I need to cancel?
If you need to cancel, please let us know 48 hours ahead of time. If we know you are not coming, we can still try to fill those seats. "No shows" lose money for the performers, because those seats stay empty.
Where does the money go?
All proceeds go to the artists.
Will refreshments be available?
We'll provide bottled water, coffee and tea; some light snacks may be available. You may bring other beverages of your choice, and feel free to bring finger foods to share.
Is the concert indoors or out?
The concert may be held outdoors or indoors. (You'll want to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly.)
We provide seating (no need to bring your own chair).
I am sensitive to pet allergens. Are there pets at frogstop?
We have two dogs, who will be gone the night of the concert. Most concerts will be held outdoors, which should help minimize your exposure to any pet allergens.
What is a "Dinner and Song" event?
How does a touring artist make ends meet, with "down" days between shows whittling away the money they earn at those shows? How do they gain exposure to new audiences?
And with limited time and money, how can music fans "sample" new artists to find those they'd like to see more of?
That's where "Dinner and Song" comes in. A "Dinner and Song" event (typically on a weeknight) offers a casual dinner for the artist and a small number of guests, followed by a short (under an hour) performance. For frogstop, it's a chance to host something fun and exciting in our home, with a simpler setup than our full house concerts.
